Andrea’s Film Club returns with a unique chance to hear an industry panel pore over this year’s nominees and a chance for you to join the debate and share your thoughts.
About the Panellists:
Andrea Carnevali is a BAFTA award-winning filmmaker with over 30 years of experience producing, directing, and editing over countless TV programs, dramas and trailers. His encyclopedic knowledge of films and storytelling skills have made him one of the most sought-after editors in the industry. In the last year he’s been sharing his infectious love for films with the audiences of the Chiswick Cinema for his film club sessions.
Mike Muncer is a freelance producer, editor, podcaster and film journalist. Mike produced BBC One’s ‘Film Programme’ for several years and then produced and edited over 100 episodes of BBC’s ‘Inside Cinema’ for iPlayer, before becoming the creator and host of the UK’s biggest and most successful horror podcast, The Evolution of Horror.
Clarisse Loughrey is the chief film critic for The Independent. She also co-hosts The Big Screen Book Club and Fade to Black podcasts.
Enrico Tessarin, an award-winning writer-producer with 20 years of experience working in Film, TV, documentary and branding work. A graduate of London Film School and EAVE, after starting his career in music videos and advertising, Enrico has worked as a Producer/Line-producer/Co-producer through his own company Pinch Media on film and tv projects for Amazon, Universal, BBC, Al Jazeera and many others. His work gathered an Emmy nomination, a United Nations award and many more recognitions from festivals all over the world. He is a visiting lecturer in Production at the Master in Producing run by Royal Holloway university since 2018. He has previously taught at London Film Academy, Metropolitan Film School and many others. He is also the founder of online Film Community ‘Shorts2features’. ENT37 is his new solo company developing a slate of documentaries and films across the UK, India and Saudi Arabia.
Sarah Cook is a freelance film critic, specialising in Pre-Code Hollywood and Victorian cinema, and has bylines in HeyUGuys, Film Stories, and more. She is also an author who published her debut novel Diary of Murders in 2023.
Rob Sprackling is a screenwriter and director. He conceived and wrote the original screenplays for the movies Gnomeo & Juliet, Mike Bassett: England Manager and The Queens Corgi and is directing his first feature Flamingo Flamenco this year. He has written for most Hollywood studios and lives in Chiswick.
Ticket price includes the 120 minute in screen discussion which will cover this years’ nominated films, with audience participation encouraged.
Andrea’s Film Club returns on a monthly basis with a hand-picked film, specialist intro and a chance to network and discuss post-screening.
